Picture yourself on your private porch over looking the Cobscook Bay watching a spectacular sunset as the water laps within 25 feet of you. Imagine watching one of the world’s highest tides rising and lowering about 27 feet twice daily right in front of you.
Enjoy your stay in a loft type atmosphere in a recently renovated factory that is in the center of the town of Lubec. You will be within walking distance of everything. Lubec is a beautiful walking village over looking the narrows of the Bay of Fundy. Seals, dolphins and whales are frequently seen in local waters.
At the Wharf you will enjoy watching the local lobsterman unloading their catch of the day at our wharf. Fresh caught lobster, crab, clams and periwinkles will be available upon request. Lubec does have the BEST of Maine’s seafood.
We will have bike rentals, a ferry to Eastport, Whale watching tours and a lobster fishing experience tour from our own wharf.
Your accommodations will be a choice of:
Seaside apartments
Each seaside apartment has two bedrooms and two baths. You have the choice of two singles or one king size bed in each room. These apartments also include a fully equipped kitchen, den, dining area, laundry and a seaside deck.
Seaside Suites
Each private seaside suite has a bedroom which can be single or king size, private bath room and large sitting area over looking the ocean. The suites share a large common area which has a comfortable living room, kitchen, dinning area, laundry and large deck over looking the ocean.
Rates: Apartments are $850/week or $150/Day
Suites are $550/week or $100/day
Discounts of 10% for summer Keys students and teachers and groups of ten or more.
Your apartment or suite will be in a building that was once a social and economic center of the community for over one hundred years. Many people of Lubec have spent their lives and a lot of their social interaction canning sardines in this factory. It was a way of life.
Our Mission is for you to feel at home and to experience being in a small town on the coast that time has been kind to. To meet people who have time, and where only the tides are controlled by it.
